The unique approach taken by our doctors focuses on NeuroStructural Correction.
Doing this addresses the root cause of your health concerns. This approach is only offered by Foundation Chiropractic Co., and is comprised of the following chiropractic techniques along with structural rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle guidelines.
Torque Release Technique
The doctors at Foundation Chiropractic Co. are among only a handful of chiropractors in Canada that have attained Certified Advanced Proficiency in Torque Release Technique, a truly modern, specific, and gentle chiropractic technique that does not involve any forceful twisting or manipulating. We commit ourselves to providing you with the highest standard of care possible.
With chiropractic having entered its second century, it is essential that a truly up-to-date, functional, vitalistic, scientific model go along with it. Torque Release Technique (TRT) was developed by combining the best elements of the seven most widely used and researched techniques in chiropractic history. As we gently and methodically adjust specific areas of your spinal cord, we change the degree of tension in the central nervous system in an effort to restore proper body function, reduce pain, and optimize health. TRT is safe, effective, and gentle enough for all age groups.
The Webster Technique
"The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of subluxation and/or SI (hip) joint dysfunction. In so doing neuro-biomechanical function in the sacral/pelvic region is improved.”
– International Chiropractic Paediatric Association
The Webster technique is especially effective for pregnant women.
We understand that keeping your baby safe and healthy while pregnant is your top priority – receiving a specific, gentle chiropractic adjustment is the best way to achieve that goal. Some of the amazing benefits of chiropractic care that mothers may notice are reduced back pain during pregnancy, reduced morning sickness, easier labour, reduced labour time and healthier babies.
Diversified technique is firmly rooted in the chiropractic profession. In our office these adjustments are hands-on, comfortable, and specific.

Chiropractic Care for my Pet?
Of course! Dr. Jason Yakimishyn is certified in animal chiropractic. Treatments are performed in a separate room during additional treatment hours that are outside of our normal practice times.
Indications for animal chiropractic include many of the same conditions we look for in humans. If your pet suffers from pain, stiffness, muscle asymmetry, lameness, restricted movement, nerve irritation, jaw problems, chronic internal medical disorders, or general issues related to aging then they could benefit from animal chiropractic care.
